Langford just got KOd, but can BJS do it? Khurtsidze was being outboxed and, maybe it's just me, But seemed to be getting a bit tired - maybe from all the wild hooks. BJS is a better boxer than Langford but Khurtsidze is a good pressure fighter and doesn't stop coming at you. Be interesting to see how BJS takes a punch from him!
If BJS puts in a performance like his last he could be in serious trouble. Personally I expect BJS to be somewhere near back to his best now Booth has been working with him and I would expect BJS to win by decision.
Depends which BJS shows up. He looked dreadful in his last fight, but now if Adam Booth has him whipped into shape then I would expect relatively comfortable decision
A fully fit Saunders should beat Khurtsidze, yes. Should be a very interesting fight because you just don't know what BJS will turn up. Let's hope it happens next.
Akavov would have beaten Khurtsidze today FFS I gave Langford a couple of rounds and Langford is mud. Khurtsidze at his best can beat a poor BJS, but BJS is a level above and if they both fight at the their comparable level BJS should win. Anything can happen though and Khurtsidze is a bad man, just I rate Billy higher
Just seen a vid on Twitter of BJS and Khurtsidze arguing.. BJS isn't in great shape! Hope he takes this seriously cos it won't be an easy night
BJS called him Danny DeVito! Also, 'Georgia - full of wankers'. Really intriguing fight and build-up could be interesting as well - if Khurtsidze can understand Saunders' limited English!
Just saw video and BJS is fat, thought the bloke had been training for a GGG fight. BJS is the best pure boxer @ 160 bar none, but he's not the best athlete and definitely not the best conditioned. Quite disappointed really, CEJ would clean him up easily, Jr has gone from strength to strength as he trains the house down. I still think Billy will beat Mr Devito though
I thought the whole point of getting Booth in as trainer is that he wouldn't take **** from BJS and would get him in shape. Doesn't looked to have worked, can't see this partnership lasting.
i agree with most of this. Would be great to see him mix it up again with Eubank Jn. If anyone can outclass GGG over a 12 round fight it's BJS but he really neglects himself (during the v long time) between fights.
I'm not a bjs fan but that pumped up Danny DeVito line was funny, he will look stupid if he gets his fat arse kicked by the little fella though.
Regardless of shape, regardless of Akavov performance, billyjoe can beat khurtsidze comfortably. He will UD him. Fairplay to Khurtsidze for his KO win though.
