Joan Guzman has made 135lb and is looking towards acquiring the WBA belt. Should he succeed would moving up to 140lb as many of the other big names are considering be too much for the Dominican. I don't doubt he could succeed at the weight but would Hatton be a step too far?

Despite all the ****...he is still a good fighter and extremely talented.

I got no comment regarding a Hatton fight because first he has to have his first fight in over a year...in a new weight..and then we can gauge how he is looking.

I feel though he has looked progressively less effective as he has moved up.

    On a 100m sprint...probably yes...

Oh theres a "whos the fastest to eat 30 mcburger in our side". Maybe they could compete there, I'll bet for Guzman.

For a beer contest I'll bet for Hatton.

Hatton would likely out drink any boxer alive.

I can imagine him seated across from Nikolai Valuev.

Hatton has god knows how many empty pitchers in front of him, and Valuev is swaying back and forth, his body in overload from blood alcohol poisoning.

Hatton-"C'mon ya big *******, take anuther pint with me!"

I don't see how Hatton can hit Guzman, without being hit twice in return.

Hatton is a monster at 140. He'll **** feather fisted Guzman who has not knocked anyone in his last 6 or 7 fights.

Guzman and marquez will fight in late 2009, hatton will never risk a fight with a slick boxer like guzman.

this is how is see things going, guzman knocks out diaz and calls out the big players of the division, he will probably get a fight with casamayor or katsides around april.

by that time marquez would have beaten diaz and he will get his shot at campbell.

also around that time after defeating katsides or casamayor guzman will call out joan diaz and the fight will be made.

marquez beats campbell and guzman beats joan diaz, and then the fight for all 4 lightweight titles will be made, winner fights pacquiao.

    Fought Floyd already!

    Considering a fight with JMM!

I doubt he will be worried about a guy like Guzman, who is tiny by comparison.

Feather fisted Guzman can't hurt Hatton. Hatton won't fight Guzman because he's a boring fighter.

Judging by his performance, Guzman only got the speed but not the power as he moved up. Look at what all speed and no power guy like Malinaggi suffered.

And I'm not sure Guzman's chin has been tested yet simply because he was hard to hit.

    Hatton by mid-round KO.
