Can Juan Manuel Lopez beat Israel Vasquez or Rafael Marquez? He is a champ now but I don't think he is ready for these two. However, I think he can take out the overrated Celestino Caballero. Thoughts?

These are the fights that must be made at 122. Great fights for mexico-puerto rico rivalry. I say a toss up against the two great mexicans and a sure win against the bean pole caballero.

Dont know, there is still questions we need to know about this kid.

He had 1 spectacular round against Deleon and already peeps are quick to dub him the best at the division, paper titles dont make you elite either.

The guy hasnt even seen 1 championship round yet in his entire career.

Good comments. But the kid is a champion now because he beat a champion, so we need to treat him like one.

Israel Vasquez . . . 65/35 in favor of Vasquez.
    Rafa Marquez . . . . 55/45 in favor of Rafa.

Caballero . . . 70/30 in favor of Juan Ma.

Still some questions surrounding the kid despite him beating a very good fighter in de leon (at the same time we have to give him his credit by beating him in only one round). I personally think he can beat Vazquez now just my hunch.

I think there are more questions about Izzy and Rafa at this point than Juan Ma.

After all those wars with one another, how would they do against a younger faster opponent? What if they're shot?

I'd love to see these fights to be perfectly honest.

I think he can beat them all, Izzy, Marquez and Celestino. JML is too big, fast and powerful at that weight.

He is still untested. He wont be knocking out Izzy or Rafa & I dont think hes prepared for the wars those 2 have been on. I thought Deleon was the worst title holder, in any division....

I think he bides his time and counter punches Vasquez for a few rounds before he begins to work in the right hooks, leading to a mid-rounds stoppage. Marquez outboxs him, maybe stops him late. Only saw Caballero once and that was by all accounts an off night against Lacierva, so I can't really say about him.
