the oz books have ortiz as a nearly 5-1 underdog head to head. i'd love to be convinced that ortiz has a shot. those sorts of odds in a two horse race always picque my attention.

but can ortiz move up to 47 and beat berto. the lefty advantage isnt really there as berto has proven recently by beating all those left handed journeyman/gate keepers - collazo, urango and quintana.

i'm not convinced by berto - but even less so by ortiz.

    what do you all think?

I would not be surprised not 1 bit if Ortiz beats Berto.

I wouldent even be surprised if Ortiz STOPS Berto.

Yes but will he use the tools he has? Ortiz has the firepower and sharpness to stop Berto but he needs more focus and a killer instinct. I think Berto wins but I wouldn't be surprised if the train of upsets is still rolling along as it has been strong lately.

I reckon Ortiz will win. I'd honestly have this at 50/50 if i was a bookie. The odds for an Ortiz win are mental. Berto aint done **** against live opposition. Maidana is a tough hombre and Ortiz nearly had him out early.

Berto has a huge speed advantage in this fight. However, Ortiz is a really live dog, especially at 5-1. If Ortiz pulls this one out, I would be mildly surprised. Not shocked. Just surprised.

I don't think so. If he was a little more tough, maybe. The kid has skills, no doubt, but I don't think he will be able to take what Andre is going to give. I wanna see Collazo/Berto II!

im very interested in this fight, i think ortiz really has ALOT to prove and he knows it, if he goes out i think it will be on his shield this time, at the odds hes getting ill lay money on ortiz as i think he has a fairly decent shot at pulling it off

Ortiz is being fed to the wolves. Consider it a gift from Golden Boy to Al Haymon

I think the odds are a bit high... They should be 2 to 1 or 3 to 1!! Not 5-1..
