Conflicting reports about this yanks power. Some say he'll struggle some say he's deceptively powerful. Looking at Youtube he doesn't seem anything special on the clattering front. Wouldn't like him whacking me in the mush like.............

Has he enough pop to trouble Froch? Taylor dropped him but he was hardly staggering all over the place.

Seems to wing his punches and cuff a bit. Ain't see that much of him but he doesn't look incredibly powerful.

Carl needs to show him pain.

he looks dodgy to me, watched a few of his fights, he looks rubbish when pressured against the ropes and at times his legs look very wobbly.

expect him to start off well, but froch should catch up with him around the 3rd, im picking a froch stoppage around the 7th or 8th, will be a great fight.

Basically, he pulls back in a straight line with his chin in the air, doesn't employ the 'lateral movement' the Yanks have been bangin on about, can't punch for **** (decent stoppage of Hanshaw but look at the first round of Oganov) and ALWAYS throws shots from the hip, leaving his head exposed.

Unless Froch has suddenly lost his punch resistance he is gonna walk through Dirrell, he allows people to come onto him way too easily.

Unlike Oganov, Frochy knows what to do when he gets there :deal

Having known so little about Dirrel I can not wait to find out what the fuss is about.

Dirrell can punch a bit, but he's not especially destructive or explosive. He's so reliant on his handspeed that he sacrifices the snap on his punches for volume. Against Froch he'll regret that.

Three pints will set you back less than a tenner.

I will PM you the results when I arrive back in God's own county.

Yep, I watched that one yesterday and Dirrell through everything at Oganov, who was not troubled at all. It would be interesting to see if Froch just walked through Dirrell in round 1 or 2, to see if he could get the stoppage, as Dirrell has a suspect chin as well.

I can see Froch giving Dirrell a good hiding, it will be great to watch at about 2am with a lot of beer consumed at that stage:cool:

I honestly think if he starts like he did against Pascal Froch will get him out of there in the 1st
