Lara tapped that ass. The worst I can give canelo is a draw, but there was no way he won that fight. Canelo is so overrated, his power is overrated, his speed is overrated, and he has no stamina. Can't even ****ing cut off the ring. He's just an above average mexican fighter, who has some good appeal. But as a fighter, I can name a bunch of fighters who are way better than him. Canelo basically just looks good against fighters like Angulo and old fighters like Mosley. Kirkland would beat his ass. Andrade would outbox him.
There's a reason he hasn't fought any of the real contenders or the than light punching Trout, Angulo (took a dive), & Lara who made him miss almost at will. How can u win a 12 round fight only landing 97 punches ?
Exactly. And canelo needs to stop throwing so much power in each of his punches. He's not athletic enough to do it, which is why he keeps gassing in fights. He's not built like Mike Tyson, he needs to accept that and his biased fans need to accept that too.
oscar sold him out by letting drainelo get drained to a corpse. oscar checking in rehab before the fight, oscar knew drainelo would lose. he must have seen it in the gym.
Floyd is a champion. Canelo hasn't fought any real contenders apart from Trout and Lara. And he arguably lost to both.
Angulo lost to Lara his last fight before fighting Canelo. That was a bull**** fight. But I will give Canelo a pass for that fight, being that he was coming off a loss as well.
