Where does this put him? If it was a clean win, then I'd say it puts him at 1. The names on his résumé are excellent (despite circumstances and controversy)

    Gennady Golovkin 2*
    Floyd Mayweather Jr
    Danny Jacobs
    Miguel Cotto
    Shane Mosley
    Erislandy Lara
    Austin Trout
    Amir Khan

He clearly is very skilled and fights the best. I think he's number 2 now, but when I watch the fight I'll see if he's 1

He got schooled by Floyd just because you fought him shouldn’t grant you higher p4p ranking

guess the only thing you could say looking at that list is not enough Knockouts .

Why theres only choice to put him in top 5? All his victories are disputed and he feels comfortable just to go the distance to win.
He is good, but nowhere near real talent like Loma or Mayweather. Just a solid B level fighter.

he fought a fight as a kid against a p4p top fighter and came up short. dont make it more than it is just to nuthug floyd. some of you guys act like canelo was just blown out of the water by a constantly retreating floyd.
floyd was faster and more experienced, who would have thought?

Dude, the man clearly has boxing skills. I mean you're entitled to not rate him p4p best but b level is a bit of a stretch lol.

Résumé can be misleading & p4p isn't just about resume which is why TC, Loma & Usyk are above him IMO

Besides, one would argue Canelo has 3 losses & a couple of draws...

Nah, he's not no 1. His resume flatters him. Lomachenko or Crawford are number 1.

At this point I don't see any clear number one pfp leader.
