I had Lara 115-114. It was a very close fight so I had no issue with Canelo winning. But the 117-111 card was ridiculous.
I'm far from Floyd's greatest fan, but Lara vs Canelo was pretty far from Floyd's showing IIRC - been awhile since I watched either, but pretty sure that Floyd stayed in the pocket and made Canelo look amateurish for most of the fight - quite a difference from Lara v Canelo. It was more like Dirrel vs Froch to me, without the worst of Dirrel's antics, but Lara was still seriously on his bike for the championship rounds, a pretty far cry from Floyd v (a v green) Canelo.
Ah, reminiscing this disgusting fight. I had just moved to Houston and sat alone in a shitty chain mexican restaurant bar to take this one in. Clenelo 116-112 or 117-111. Never saw such a disgusting display of cowardice in the ring. The "Cuban School" can stay in the amateur ranks since nobody in this country watches that anymore.

Who's punches were cleaner and harder? Canelo. I had Hopkins over Calzaghe for the same reason. Because one guy was throwing punches that mattered and did damage and the other wasnt

I would say that applies to this fight and the GGG rematch, which I had even. Canelo got lucky with the draw in the first GGG fight, I had that 116-113 for GGG.
Only the ones that in my opinion he lost. I have no respect for him though due to his obvious Ped's abuse & biased officiating benefits .Just look at his conduct going up & down in weight ,one fight looks like a mini hulk . You cannot get a body like that legally in that short time
