Yeah De La Hoya said Canelo was traveling with him to watch the Cotto vs Trout fight and I'm guessing Canelo wants to challenge Cotto after that fight.
I agree with you 100%. I think that it will be the very first All Latino >1M PPV! Beyond sick and the build up should be incredible! Make it happen!!!
Canelo vs angulo or vanes makes sense. I predict canelo vs DLH on cinco de mayo. You heard it here first. All the other names might be too big a step up for canelo. Lara outboxed vanes relatively easy. Id say angulo or vanes 1 and 2. kirkland 3 but forget about lara, cotto, or mayweather.
Canelo Vs. Cotto: Trout won't be an easy win for Cotto. I think the expreance will make Cotto better. Also howmuch will the inactivity hurt Alvarez? If the fight was happing next I'd pick Alvarez. Under the cimcanstances that they would be happening my pick is Cotto Canelo Vs. Mayweather: This fight can be made right now! Alvarez is a huge name and a Golden Boy boxer. Both factors make the fight with Mayweather easy to make. Alvarez has shown a lot of talent and is a strong light middleweight. I think Mayweather is still too good to be beat by him though. Canelo Vs. Lara: see below Canelo Vs. Vanes: see below. I would like to wait on a rematch. Before the fight I was really high on Lara. However he showed the Cuban tendancy to make a couple of moves and freeze. I think if Vanes could take advange of that so could Canelo. I don't think that Vanes is better than Canelo Canelo Vs. Angulo: see below Canelo Vs. Kirkland: See Below I thank Canelo easily bats Angulo and Kirkland. If I was his mananger. I'd try to make the fight with Maywweather. I don't think he beats Mayweather. However Alvarez is still very young. A loss to Mayweather won't ruin his career. There is also a lot of money in that fight. After the loss. I'd look at Angulo or Kirkland. Both are beatable, and bigenough names to but him back in a championship fight. The winner of the Lara/Vanes rematch or the winner of Cotto/Trout comes to mind.
