C'mon man, 0 fights in 1 whole year, he is in his prime, he is the face of boxing, he was supposed to fight 3 times a year. Stop that bull**** with dazn and golden boy already, we need boxing at his best because UFC is taking over and fighters like Canelo are the best way to attract people back to boxing. If Canelo wants to become one of the best fighters ever he shouldn't be wasting a year of his prime
Agree, but business is business and these are prize fights. Unfortunately if the money isn’t there, there is little incentive to fight, especially if you’ve already made a ton of money.
At this point in his career with all those servings of “beef” I could see Canelo debuting in 2021 as the veiniest 193lb cruiserweight in boxing after all this is said and done. Like a really buff testicle with boxing gloves and the speech patterns of Rocky Balboa attempting Spanish.
The less Clenelo stinking up the sport the better. Hopefully it's another year before he gets back in the ring.

Don’t think he’s in any rush. I mean, would you bother? Having somewhat decent, even if controversial record, loads of money, ability to pull in more at any time he chooses... Its not the legacy he’s after, otherwise he’d had made different career choices. He doesn’t seem hungry for attention either so why not take your time and enjoy the spoils.
Eh doesn’t matter, outside of the states most of us don’t care about him and know he isn’t that exceptional. Moving on. Let diva throw his tantrum and forget about it.
