Anyone think it might be significant? He has really good head/upper body movement. I know Floyd is the most sharp, accurate guy in the sport.
It's why I;m going with Floyd in a tough fight. It's amazing how underrated canelo is getting. He's no Guerrero.
It could be. The thing with Trout vs Canelo is that Trout was basic with his punch variety. He was mostly throwing jabs and when he did throw other punches, Canelo was able to see them. Floyd hits fighters with shots they don't see.
Defensively he is but that isn't going to help him every round. Canelo WILL win rounds. Just like I said Cotto would
Having herky jerky head movement against someone who paws with their punches, who you know cannot hurt you (Trout), does not make you a great defensive fighter. See the pseudo, artificial "slickness" of a fight like Proksa... Who was schooled when he fought someone who could box a ****ing lick in Mora.
His overall skillset has been improving over his past few fights. I did notice him utilizing more head movement during his fight with Trout. I wouldn't call his defense very good or anything, but it's definitely progressed from the time when it looked like he was going to get KO'd in the 1st round against Miguel Cotto's older brother.
Alot better than the *****'s give him credit for :good (Same w/Hand speed combo punching & timing) When I say "*****" I don't mean the Mayweather fans... I speak to the "*****'s" they know "Who dey B".
He can be hit fairly easily, Floyd will land cleanly with ease. The question is can floyd hurt or have enough power to wear canelo won't just walk through his punches. I can see canelo willing to take whatever Floyd can dish out just to land a counter. Canelos defense was good against trout because the open score cards. Instead of being aggressive he just laid back and focus on his defense. Just watched the Lopez fight and he was getting hit cleanly, just Lopez lacked the power hurt canelo and even then a few punches seemed to stun canelo a bit.
It's gonna be real interesting to see them match wits. Can't wait to see Floyd adjust once he gets Canelo's timing down. Think Canelo needs to throw rights to Floyd's left liver, cause Floyd defends the left hook well with his right arm.
Maybe 1 or 2 canelo has stamina problems and trouble wit h fighters that move floyd i going to batter this dude bruh
