Ah shut up, no-one really cares, I support British and Irish fighters equally (There should do away with the 'British' title and have a 'British Isles' title instead

Great to hear of another good British fighter on the scene. Will check him out if he appears on tv.

Lewisbell, well said! not about the "British Isles title" thing - but the first sentance. Irish guys support British and Irish fighters as well.

jonnytightlips, you sure he's "Irish"! I think you'll find he might not be - not in the way you mean anyway - and so what if he is British? I'd still support him.

jeff, good shout - he is a crackin wee fighter and much more suited to the pros - Barry will look after him. Now we just need Phil Sutcliffe to turn over as well.

He probably wont get shown unless Simpson can knock out Truscott early. I never really rated Truscott so hopefully that might happen.

Sky will probably cut the programme after the second round of the Simpson/Truscott fight with no explanation.

As far as I'm aware Frampton is British, but like yourself I'm not going to support him any less because of it.

He's the raining Irish Amateur Featherweight champion and won the title in an absolute war with David Oliver Joyce. If anyone has that fight recorded btw would they please put it up on youtube !

His style is perfectly suited to the pros, big puncher, aggressive when he wants to be but not short on skill either, he's a fantastic prospect.
