Ruben got took to the cleaners, madness. Did the corrupt / fraud contracts ever grt revealed or was he paid his 60 bags ? Surely he would have been sued following these allegations ?
About Ruben Grobenwald - He used to come over to Belfast to train/spar around this time or maybe slightly before (2002-3), a friend of mine got matey with him and told me afterward that Ruben is a complete and utter headcase who lives in his own world. Wouldn't take anything he says seriously.
I was wrong to call him a bum, he was a prospect at one time and no doubt a very tough man in and out of the gym. The fight could well of been fixed (I have my suspicions about Foster) and there was a lot of shadyness in sports betting in general around that time but regardless of the stoppage he had been down once, was never in the fight and was taking punishment. He was bought in to do a job and surely would have been well aware of what to expect.
