Total bias commentary for the first 6-7 rounds.. and who is Spencer? He got Spence Jnr name wrong pretty much all night
He was dreadful. His scoring was all over the place and he kept calling Spence "Spencer" which got right on my nerves.
yeah he is messing up a bit but to be fair his delivery isn't bad considering he is a bit of a novice. he not as bad as I expected he would be, he flows fairly well and is able to deliver some of his boxing knowledge effectively. a kit better than Lennos Lewis. he can definitely be a tool though but there room for improvements if he can drop the self promoting a bit. there are worse, I cant stand adam smith personally.
Froch is clueless about boxing, bar the Matchroom stable I don't think he actually knows any other boxers.
His scoring for the Allen fight was certainly embarrassing. I was very disappointed with Allen actually. The game plan was obviously to lean on Thomas until he got tired and then take him out. Problem was Thomas didn't tire too badly and boxed Allens ears off as Allen was coming in. It wasn't hard for Thomas though as Allen displayed zero boxing ability during the fight. You can't just lean on a guy, throw a few wild hooks and expect to win a fight. Thomas displayed some good skills I must add. He has a future if he works hard and is managed well.
We didn't know what we'd got till it had gone with Jim Watt, a guy who actually took an interest in the sport and knew the names of the guys he was paid to talk about. Enzo Maccaranelli would be an upgrade of about 5 levels if he replaced Froch.
How did he not know the guys name, it's not like it hasn't been on huge posters everywhere you look all week.
