Carl Froch

I've watched 2 videos of him taking a dig at George Groves. I get the feeling he is bitter or jealous of George Groves, he badly wants Callum Smith to win. (IFL TV interview)

Interesting that the World Boxing Super Series Final winner gets £7 million keeping in mind Carl Froch made £8.5 million in the second Groves fight.

That Muhammad Ali trophy looks nice.

 

I doubt he's jealous or bitter. More likely he just doesn't like him, given their history.

 

Remember the last tournament Carl Froch entered? He got schooled by Andre Ward. I can tell you now George Groves doesn't care about Froch one bit but Carl does, he badly wants a reaction but won't get one.

Oh well my £17 has been paid, countdown has began.

 

Groves does care.

If George was offered the rematch after the tournament he would snap your arm off for it.

 

Froch has a huge Ego, im sure he would prefer Groves to win to boost his own CV.

 

No he doesn't anymore, he did after the first Froch fight because he felt and a lot of people felt the stoppage was dodgy (which it was) afterwards he complained and got told to keep quiet or else.

 

I dont know why Froch has digs at Groves.

Groves has done well since the Froch and Jack defeats. Just move on Carl.

 

Of course he cares. He lost twice to his arch rival. He’s just got nothing to boast about whereas Carl obviously has!

I don’t mean to take anything away from Groves as he’s a fantastic boxer and he’s still went on to have a stellar career. But to say he doesn’t care about losing to his arch rival is nonsense.

Yes he did, but what has that got to do with George Groves, who he stopped twice? How do you know what Carl wants?

P.S. Callum Smith is no Andre Ward.

 

This. Froch and Groves hate eachother its as simple as that.

 

Difference is Ward would have stopped Groves.

 

True Callum Smith is no Andre Ward but George Groves is no Carl Froch either. If prime Froch was around now he would be unbeaten in the division as its weak.

 

I loved watching Froch fight but he is a narcissist and is scared that Groves success may eclipse his own (even if it's unlikely).

 

Froch is dead jealous of Anthony Joshua doing BIG a*s PPV numbers and attendances. No one really talks about Carl cause he doesn't have that star power.
