Hes been scheduled a few times now and none have come through!
He was ment to be fighting Gary Sykes in a british eliminator and that never came off, if hed of won hed of been at the top title fights again but he dint show and theres no word of him being lined up for any other bills!

Any ways just my opinion, i like Carl hes a good lad and fun to watch; id like to see him again just dont think we will

Wasn't he trained by Maloney for one of his most 'recent' fights as when left to his own devices training didn't happen.

Don't know if he's still with Maloney who's got a decent stable now and isn't going to have time to mess about with people who can't get their head right.

I like Carl and his fights with Gomez and Mitchell were great, but if he does fight again it's going to take desire to get himself into shape and mental toughness to get involved in the business end and you've got to worry if he's got that.

Carls a bit of a hero really.

Michael Gomez - was a real nasty piece of work towards him - came up to him stuck his head in his face - horrible ****er.

Carl kept his cool and refused to be intimated.

Frank Maloney told Gomez to "go away you bully thats all you are a bully"

"bully" Gomez backed off and had failed to mentally trouble Carl.

Gomez looked like a bitter old man - he looked about 78 years old for that fight !!!!!!!!!!

Carl done him and stopped him with hurtful body shots in the sixth round.

It just shows nice guys can come out on top sometimes and beat the nasty bullys !!!

    Credit to Carl.

I was privileged enough to see the Johansson - Gomez fight at Donny. Carl came through an absolute hail of shot and shell to take the win in a brutal encounter. I honestly feared for both of the fighters that night...awesome scrap.
