Right , this is the primo of the sharkey ko version verses the ingo of the first Patterson fight. Does primo have a decent chance against the swede? Or is ingo replicating baer and doing some serious damage with his toonder right?

I take Ingo to ko him at some point.Carnera never learned to defend against right hands.

I believe the right hand of ingo is slightly underrated. It's not in the league of a Lewis or Marciano by a long shot, but when landed right it could do some damage. So in agreement mcvey, I see ingo catching primo time after time until the big guy goes.

Primo follows the end of Ingo's jab around the ring for a couple rounds until he eats a right that begins the end.

As one of the resident Patterson lovers, it's obvious that I would tend to give Ingo more Kudos than may be warranted but...the Machen KO was brutal, showing, at least, when he has a man hurt he can be a two fisted machine! He was your typical, at the time, two punch Euro. Jab and right hand. But his jab was, IMO, underrated and that Right? There was no loop to it, right down the pipe!! In closing, I just don't think he had it under the left tit in many head to head matchups. But that right hand, if landed clean, was as good as it gets, better than Rock's, among others IMO. As to a Primo fantasy s c r a p? We're talking an Eras difference which makes it difficult to judge.
