Very dissapointed this is off. Was set to be a great night of boxing and this fight will be missed. Wonder can Eddie pull something decent out the bag for Carroll?
Quigg is all washed up. I think it was partly that he fancied living in the States which is understandable, but the move to Roach/LA has been a disaster.
Who could Carroll fight at short notice? Somebody who's known and not boring to watch. What about Roman Martinez?
I thought they would of made Carroll vs Martin J Ward in a lesser fight further down the card but it seems they are just moving it to Jan instead. Will replace it with another name in a tickover I expect as would be hard to find a 50/50 at short notice.
Yeah I just read that they're planning to reschedule Quigg-Carroll for early next year. Glad about that cos it's a good match-up. Talk of Whyte vs somebody (a dumpling no doubt) replacing that fight for the Ruiz-Joshua undercard.
