Congratulations to Casa on this win. I actually thought he would lose this figh. My question is: Did anyone else count how many times Casa headbutted Mike during the fight? Around the 5th round, I had counted about 20 of them - before giving up on the count.
oh boy did he use his head, both literally and metaphorically. its a fight, Casa is crafty and dirty. He did what he had to do to win. I don't knock fighters for fighting dirty cuz you are supposed to "PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES." There is a reason for a referee, if the ref didn't see it, it didn't happen.
Both fighters were dirty... Katsidis throwing low blows as well, pushing, throwing Casamayor... it wasn't a clean fight but the finish was clear and clean.
Are you ****ING serious? Protect yourself at all times - from Headbutts - Rabbit Punches - Low Blows - Elbows - and **** like that. I doubt if that's what they meant by PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES :fire Casa wasn't warned once about his head - but that doesn't mean that the Ref didn't see it. He just never said anything about it. In a fight between Conven. & Southpaw - you expect a clash of heads - but he was actually using his head as a weapon.
I Dont Think Cas Was Throwing Headbutts. When A Southpaw And A Conventional Fighter Meet They Almost Always Clash Heads.
Well fellas I think the point is as young, strong and determined as Katz was he lacked the experience and knowldege of the fight game that Casa did and it seems as if he just damages to easily to try and incorporate such a style on savvy veteran fighters. Casa is one intellegent mofo in the ring...easily one of the most underrated fighters of this era.
I would think that anyone that has watched 1 or 2 tapes of casamayor and is training to fight him would train to deal with headbutts.
yes im ****in serious. Look at the phrase PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES. It does not say sometimes, or most of the time. BUT ALL TIMES. it is a ****in fight, a scrap, 2 people are punching eachother in the face and body, and you expect it to be clean. Watch tennis or swimming if you think that boxing is about being clean.:hi:

casa is a dirty fighter he does headbutt thats nothing new. he always seems to get a headbutt in, his is BHOP like gets away with it with cunning ability to time it when the ref is not in good line of vision
