Fantastic news. Another undisputed at 140, who could in turn go to 147 to fight the last undefeated undisputed 140 champion. Exciting.

What's everyone's initial thoughts on the match-up between Taylor and Ramirez?

I'd honestly be surprised if Taylor doesn't come through this,he's got so many advantages over Ramirez and is just a better fighter..won't be easy though and Ramirez will have his moments but Taylor wins on points imo.

I think Taylor wins a comfortable decision.

He’s to versatile for Ramirez, stoppage is my pick. Then onto a mouth watering defence against Zepeda, unless he moves to welter.

I think Taylor beats Ramirez fairly comfortably as well. Can't wait to see it.

I think he should beat Ramirez have 1 or 2 at WW then go for Crawford.

Zepeda fight would be bonus for winner before 147, Zepeda earned a shot at the best with some of recent performances

I would to be fair but it would have to be Catteral next. id like to see if Taylor can mix it up at welter, plenty of names up there for him.

I'd try and go for another belt first then gun for crawford.dont think that will happen though but anything to break the pbc' dominance in the division would be good for boxing imo.

Depends. If Taylor hangs at 140, the sanctioning fees would be crippling so I think he drops a belt or two, Catterall could fight for the WBO if JT drops it. But agreed it will be Jack one way or another

Yeah m8 that's why you would think they will go straight for Crawford but I don't think it would be a bad move to try and stick a few spanners in the works by trying to grab one of the other belts? the division needs a shake up because all the top fighters have already fought each other and it looks set to continue.look for the Spence v porter rematch next year.
