How good would Cedric Kushner d/b/a Gotham Promotions be in this Heavyweight landscape...???

Back in the late 1990's early 2000's Kushner boasted a who's-who of potential heavyweights in his stable:

    David Tua
    Tim Witherspoon
    Kirk Johnson
    Ike Ibeabuchi
    Gerald Nobles
    Anthony Thompson

    Paolo Vidoz
    among many others.

Kushner had spinal surgery years ago, and has not promoted a card in over 4 years.

Kushner is most famously known for his THUNDERBOX Series, 5 Round fights, usually matching up B & C level Heavyweights

    and

Fistful of Dollars, a tournament that was the predecessor to Prizefighter type matches.

Kushner also tried to revive the Heavyweight Division in the late 1990's early 2000's with his "HEAVYWEIGHT EXPLOSION" Shows.

The Heavyweight Explosion cards would showcase up-and-coming Heavyweights, usually fighting in their hometowns.

he was probably too honest of a promoter with not enough financial backing to make it big time....
