Am I the only one who wish they were still together? During the couple of fights Floyd Sr. trained Dawson, I thought Dawson looked better than ever. His defense was much tighter. He's the type of talent that Floyd Sr. thrives with. It's unfortunate they had a falling out & that Sr. called him a ******atsch
Part of being a good trainer is establishing mutual trust and respect with your fighter. Goofball Mayweather Sr. knows nothing about that aspect of training.

Dawson is another overrated american fighter. He is Grade A China. If he stops cherry picking his opponents and fights a young hard puncher he will get knocked the f*ck out. Same with arreola.

What? He worked with Sr. for a few weeks before a fight. That's it and he has shown improvement under Dwight Muhammed who is doing real good with Chad. Sr.did nothing with Chad!
Chad Dawson one of the best young fighters in the game. Pretty Boy even said he was the best during his retirement (a compliment from Floyd!!!?) Cherrypicking? Nah... He beat Tomasz Adamek when he was undefeated and reigned supreme in the Light Heavyweight division. Now, Adamek rules the Cruiserweight division. He destroyed Antonio Tarver the 1st time they fight and now he has to fight that big mouth turd because of a rematch clause that Tarver exercised. Dawson is willing to fight anyone in his division, including Bernard Hopkins (#3 pound 4 pound in the world according to Ring Magazine). The problem is the legendary fighters like Hopkins, Roy Jones Jr, don't want to fight him because his name isn't big enough to make a difference for them. The younger fighters don't want to fight him now because they don't want a loss so early in there career. Chad "Bad" Dawson is on the fringe of the Top 10 P4P list. Within 2 years, he'll be near the top of the list.
