If Chagaev were to beat Wladimir Klitschko how do you think he would do it?

I hope Chageav does to him what Corrie Sanders did!! This has the potential to be very boring as well........:yep

Chagaev has a 10 -15 % chance of winning. His chin very good and he has very good power. But he misses the speed en pressure to destroy Wlad.

Here are the odds on some scenarios in which Ruslan Chagaev wins:

10:1 - Wlad accidentally slips on some water in the corner and breaks his ankle.
100:1 - Wlad forgets the date of the fight and shows up on Sunday.
1,000: 1 - Vitali Klitschko shows up to fight wearing a Ruslan Chagaev mask.
1,00,000,000,000,000: 1 - Ruslan Chagaev closes his eyes lands a knock out punch.

I'd look to put a little bit of pressure on Wlad early to let him know that I've come to win and that I can dig a bit. I'd have a go at backing up and dodging shots, Wlad could get tired and put off if he cannot get to Chagaev.

I'd fancy Chagaev on points, does he have the pop to stop Wladimir and does he have it in him to go looking for an early KO?

To be honest, I would not be surprised if Wlad beats him up and stops him late, however, I believe Chagaev is much better than Wlads other foes and can see him giving it a go. I hope he gives it a go, if he does we could be in for a treat tomorrow night.

He has no chace of winning.....BUT if he can pull it off it will be a last chance left late in the fight when Wlad will be fatigued

Of course he can win. He is very good, skilled southpaw which Wlad was NOT prepared at all in training camp.

I think he will some real problems for Wlad at beginning at least. If he shows some tought mentality at very beginnin showing he can take a punishment you dont know if Wlad kinda freaks out and then Wlad is in trouble.

Only in the first 3 rounds, after that Wlad will be comfortable enough to jab and grab for another 3 rounds, then go for the kill after 6th round. Chagaev has really nothing better than Wlad but his chin and inside fighting ability. Everything else is in Wlad's favor, and thats why I give Chagaev a solid 25% chance of winning. If he dont come out strong, he has almost no chance of beating Wlad.

Wlad haved before problem with sauthpaws fighters. Remember Sanders and Brewster KO him.

Today is diferent story because Wlad is stronger like never before. Stewerd change him completly and he is more mature and have a lot of experince.

About Chagaev I can say, he knows very well Wlad. He have also one of the best trainers in Europe, Michael Timm, but I`m sceptic little bit because he haved serioz helth problem and don`t now how he will be right now. Hepatit lost to many high sportsmans cariere. Chagaev did`nt look very well in his last fight.

I like Chagaev to win but Wlad have advantage .....
    Lets see what will happen.

If Klitschko's jab gets lazy, I could see Chagaev ducking under it, and coming up with a blind overhand counter.

The situation is actually more in Chag's favour than it may seem on paper:

Wlad prepared for an right handed fighter with an unorthodox syle, he is now facing a southpaw with a more textbook style.

Chagaev prepared for a tall right handed somewhat robotic opponent and is still fighting a tall right handed somewhat robotic opponent....however, Wlad is considerably better than Valuev.

Wlad has shown in the past he isn't always comfortable with southpaws.

Chagaev has shown that he is very capable of negating height advantages by fighting the perfect fight against Valuev.

Anyway, I still think Wlad will win but Chagaev is woefully underrated at times due to the fact that he is not exceptional at anything in particular but he has no glaring weaknesses, unlike most other HWs.

I think Chag with his sothpaw stance and crafty style can catch Wlad a few times, but I doubt he'll win
