Nobody seems to have mentioned this but his corner were shocking, very **** poor imo.

Not once between rounds did they give him any decent advice or tactical changes etc

All his trainer did was shout **** to him like "you trained hard and your blowing it" "All this way and you you aint doing it" "Let your hands go" and my favourite of the night, real tactical genius ****........

"You gotta do what you gotta do"

What the ****, thats like **** out a bloody playstation game!

Yeah, he needs to let his hands go but how about telling him how to get inside and do it you tit etc

Not once did they give him any kind of tips on how to do anything at all.

****, in about the 6th round his main tit even said that Wlad was "Scared"

    Terrible cornerwork.

Chambers seems like a good guy and has some decent skills, he could do with a top trainer and for the love of god, get a nutritionist on board because at 209lbs in the heavy division you should not look fat and out of shape.

Agreed. They were pathetic. One thing I would have been roaring in his ear is to try some lateral movement to get passed Wlad's jab.

All they did was spout cliches. No tactical advice whatsoever.

I thought they gave him a hard time when he needed motivating to stay in the fight. They could have at least given him constructive advice.

Something I worry about with Nazim Richardson. Not that I'm comparing the two corners.

I'm not sure Chambers would have been able to accommodate them even if they had given him the proper advice. He's not a lateral mover. His best moments are where he can stand in the pocket, block shots with his peek-a-boo, and counter with his quick hands. Wlad's length and style made that effectively impossible.

I never saw the RbR so didnt know it was mentioned but im surprised its not been mentioned more.

It was actually some of the worst **** ive heard in a fight, never mind you're in against the HW Champ and giving away everything in the fight.

Like someone said, cliche **** that i could have done.

Who the **** was the female cuts twat, she was even giving him ****, who the **** is she to give a No1 contender any kind of grief, that was the final straw for me and i was only watching that crap.

What the **** must Eddie have been thinking, getting his ass beat and then goes to corner for tactics and has some ***** talkin ****. **** that!

With that kind of lame ass advice etc whats the point in having a trainer and giving them a % of your hard earned cash?

I'll probably get flamed for this, but in their defense, what were they supposed to say???

Everything they'd prepared, every aspect of their plan to bring the fight to Wlad was failing completely. He couldn't get inside, he was intimidated by Wlad's jab, he was getting progressively more timid. Do you really think they hadn't worked on tactics to get inside all throughout training camp? And they all failed. Do you really think a last second change of tactics, shouted within one minute while your fighter is punch drunk, was gonna turn the fight around? All they could do was try to motivate him to be more assertive and not give up and run. They did all they could.

This doesn't mean they shouldn't give him proper advice, though. What the hell does "you gotta do what you gotta do" mean?? :blood

Yeah mate, that was said, cant remember what round but it was around the mid way point, i couldnt believe the **** they were already saying so was listening to them and that nailed it for me that they were worse then useless.

From the end of the 1st round Chamber's corner did not say one thing that he could have used. Like i said it was the kinda **** you hear in games and movies, whereas in Klits corner Manny was giving him sound advice from the start and even said to Wlad that Chambers corner was givin him grief, as he is a pro he was watching and listening to them shouting bollocks to there man.

Honestly, any fan with half decent knowledge could have done a better job.

Give there man who was taking a beating some advice, like a knowledable trainer should.

All well working on tactic when training but that can all change the minute you get in the ring, thats why fighters pay good money for trainers.

Not once did thay tell him anything construtive, **** they didnt even tell him to use any kind of head movement to get out the way of his jab and create space, use angles, you know, basic ****.

Im not saying it would have made any difference but at least give the guy the impression that you actually know what your doing.

If he needed the kind of motivating **** they were doing then hire that wank cheerleader "Crocodile" to talk **** and get yourself a real trainer.
