Champ slayer

I defeated eight undisputed world champions but was never a champion myself. Who am I?

 

Lloyd Marshall or Memphis Pal Moore Memphis Pal Moore beat 10 (Joe Lynch, Johnny McCoy, Bud Taylor, Johnny Buff, Sammy Mandell, Jack (kid) Wolfe, Eugene Criqui, Pete Herman, Jimmy Wilde & Kid Williams) Lloyd Marshall beat 9 (Overlin, Risko, Yarosz, Brouillard, Charles, Christoforidis, LaMotta, Maxim & Mills)

 

These two guys seem to be more impressive than the guy I was thinking of and they fit the criteria, although they are "overqualified". Can you think of another guy who beat 8 world champs?

 

Jimmy Bivins beat 8, as did Lew Feldman

I know Young Stribling and Baby Arizmendi had at least 7.
