I remember a commentator stating tyson was indeed a converted southpaw in one of his fights, also heard SRR was left handed but never had that verified.
I seem to remember this thread just being done a month ago or so... not saying to be a dick..just saying that if you can find it it might help.
here is a pic of him signing a contract with his right hand..you can find other pics like it...just " search sugar ray robinson signing" in google This content is protected Of course back then schools often made left handed kids learn to write with the right hand. You really would need a handwriting expect to look at some of Robinsons hand written stuff to tell for sure. Because if he was a natural left hander his writing is likely to have a unusual curve to it.
Yea, I was looking what hand he signed stuff with. I know he uses his right hand a lot for other purposes like shaking hands. The use of his right hand in his life documentary wouldn't suggest he's left handed.
i tried to find a baseball pitch...couldnt...thing about signing is though.in many schools back then they made left handers write with the right hand...it was pretty common actually....so cant really be sure about that.
I've also heard that Tyson was a converted southpaw, but it doesn't look like that is the case. He shoots a basketball and writes with his right hand. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbQxe35BfJU[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdCMulv9W94&feature=related[/ame]
