Changing thread titles

    Why do people change thread titles?

    For example the khan vs mccloskey fight being on primetime thread. This is a massive thread and if someone clicks on page one it has nothing to do with the announcement. people have to trawl through pages and pages and pages to get to the actual topic of the thread since the thread title has changed.

    Seems a bit stupid to me

    cuts down on the number of threads

    i agree though pretty pointless if your gonna create new threads like this

    Most people put EDIT on it to show how something has changed. It's good cos you get the up to date news without about 5 other pointless threads being made on the same subject. Talking about pointless threads....
