I've put this video here because i feel this may help all of us who box or train and this is a fantastic video. Might of been posted before. What a damn great fighter Burley was. It talks about the stance etc. Hope people enjoy

great video and you see how great he was

but it over rates the who stance thing

 

Billy Smith wasnt a bad Fighter, He had just Drawn with Archie Moore.

Yeah, one stance utilizes blocking more and the other utilizes slipping more. Cant say that one is necessarily more effective than the other.

The pause button got a nice workout here, it was also humourous of them using a photo of Oscar De La Hoya as a dummy pointing out weakness in a fighter.
