Perhaps you mean it was a ***** move and not really sportsmanlike from Jacobs to come in overweight. If so i agree wholeheartedly.

Competitive means that both fighters put up a decent performance so few rounds were close and no one got schooled 10-2 style.

I don't think the Charlos are hype jobs. They are for real. Jermall will take out Jacobs. Jacobs can run or do whatever he wants but Charlo is eventually going to catch him and knock him out.

I'm a big fan of both Charlos but that Austin Trout fight still looms in my head. I don't think either of the Charlos can really be out muscled or out physical-ed by anyone, but I think good enough boxer that can handle the firepower and speed (because they're gonna land) is always gonna be a tough out for them. That being said, Danny
is quite versatile but his temperament is he gets hit and wants to fire back, that **** has worked with the other guys because they're so much slower, Charlo is just as sharp a puncher and quick so..........

iii, I see where you are coming from, and I understand what youre saying, but Jacobs being heavier, whether fair or not, doesnt negate or neutralize the fact that the fight was close. I dont know what else to say.

I understand you think Jacobs had an unfair advantage in weight, and that could definitely be the case, but that has nothing to do with whether the fight was close and competetive, which it undoubtedly was.

He might but with the exception of ''Pee Wee Herman'' who barely landed a shot, Jermallo hasn't fought anyone who can punch a dent in a cardboard box. Jacobs can bang and we have no idea if Jermallo's chin can withstand getting cracked by a puncher who can match him for size.

This is exactly what I am getting at & therefore Jacobs efforts in the fight should not be classed as competitive fight as ,IMO, he was cheating.

Ok .some may feel I am being pedantic...maybe a little...but I wanted to highlight the fact that Jacobs was IMO , cheating by not following the Marquess of Queensbury rules & having an unfair advantage, meaning he had a competitive edge if you will .
Hence when they do fight again ,there should be absolute strict enforcement in this area! tbh, I rate Jacobs as a Boxer, & his trainer is an straight guy, but didn't they have some help/guidance from Hunter in the build up to the fight? I cannot understand why Rozzier would need any advice from any trainer as I feel he is one of the best currently in the business.

I'm leaning towards Charlo. Fresher, hungrier, and has very sharp skills. Jacobs doesnt execute his advatages enough and makes things closer than they need to be. Gave ggg too much respect and thats not something Charlo would do.
