Watched a Chavez fight(Forgot which one) and the commentators were talking about a possible Chavez Norris fight at a catchweight. Who do you think would have won? I got Norris
I wish Norris would've gone up to 160 when the division was loaded from top to bottom. Some barn burners in that line up for sure!
Norris was all wrong for Chavez. Chavez was obviously the better/greater fighter, but too small and not the type of power to take advantage of Norris's chin. Chavez had heavy hands that showed on his opponent's faces, but I doubt at junior middle he was going to land the type of shots to knock Norris out.
Norris was the ultimate bully. Always challenging fighters to move up but he never did. 154 or even catchweight way out of Chavez comfort zone. Norris would destroy Chavez in 8.
Norris by nasty tko with Chavez bloodied but unbowed after about 8 if this happens ca 92-93 at 150lbs.
Not a chance, Chavez gets killed. Duran tried to lure Chavez into a fight at 154 when Duran was like 45 years old. Chavez knew he couldn't go at that weight , hell he wasn't all that at 147
