Oh man, that guy Kongo fought is one scary dude. He got hit flush by two right hands, and instead of going to sleep, he got rocked and then grabbed 6'4 Kongo and slammed him down. I don't think anybody wants a peice of that Mexican-American dude.
Seriously though, i said that Kongo shouldn't of taken his fight. That was obvious that he was gonna get beat up on his back. So we knew Kongo was a **** wrestler, but who knew Cain had a **** chin? That will be a problem!!
Are you serious? If Kongo had hit you with those shots (Kongo is 6'4 and built like a machine) then you'd have been sleeping and wouldn't have woke up for a few hours. Cain took the shots, got badly hurt, but he didn't go down..he grabbed Kongo and slammed him. He doesn't have an inhuman punch resistance, but his recovery skills are some of the best in MMA off the evidence of those two flush shots he took in round 1.
He maybe big but Kongo doesn't have one punch KO power, most of his wins are TKO from multiple punches. If he fights Carwin he's getting put to sleep with 1 punch. Plus Carwin has similar wrestling background. I know Lesnar has power in his punches but he doesn't have the snap that KOs, Cain would get dropped against him, and his wrestling would not be able to save him. But he is still young and always improving...
The bottom line about Cain is this. 4 fights. That's all he's got. He just absolutely dominated a man like Kongo, who has extensive MMA experience. Let's put this guy in perspective.
Kongo really need to learn bjj or train with chuck liddell so chuck can teach him how to avoid being taken down.
Kongo doesnt need to learn BJJ he just needs to learn HOW to defend the takedowns and get a take down defense. The guy when he first came to the UFC was a bad bad joke. And Rogan made all this ****ing noise as though he learnt how to defend takedowns. Puhlease.
Nothing new. The guy doesnt even know how to sprawl. He's been doing that since he came to the UFC. Like iv said before id love to see Lesnar vs Kongo. Boy wouldnt that be fun...
