    Based on their last fight, and it seems that that may be all it takes to make the cut, how about Fernando Guerrero and Hassan Ndam? They got knocked down I think it was 4 and 6 times each, respectively, against Quillin.

    Just going to make a shout out in advance; if Salido gets repeatedly hurt, dropped, or stopped by Cruz in his next fight then he certainly would make the cut.

    Another elite tier fighter harboring a bad chin; Gamboa. He's been dropped close to 10 times now. In a few years all it will take is a moderate gust of wind to put him down.

    I'd recommend you watch and educate yourself on some UK boxing.

    After that, you will come back and realize the fault you have made.

    Fraudley actually is not retired. He changed his mind. And like Zak said nobodies Chin gets shattered like his does. It is almost if he crumbles before the punch even lands.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    The UK is the Isle Of Glass Jaw. It isn't up for debate. Reality is the top 5 could all be British fighters. It is that bad.

    Martinez is definitely a candidate - there can be little question that, late in his career, his punch resistance has weakened considerably. I think the reason he didn't make it this month is that there are just so many OTHER fighters with shaky chins in the sport of boxing!:yep

    What do the chincheckers feel about Broners jaw? I know you guys study punch resistance in great depth and often announce a fighter has a glass jaw even before it has officially been shattered (eg 46and0 declaring Paul Williams had a glass jaw before it had even been shattered).

    Broner seems to be cherry-picking feather fisted opponents, do you believe that he is the owner of a glass jaw that will be shattered all over the squared circle as soon as he stops ducking the best fighters in each division?

    I don't think Fury's chins that bad. He's been down twice in his career by the same shot. That was due to him being lazy and his defence being bad. I've saw him take some good shots and anybody would go down to the shots you cant see. Its not like he hasn't been able to get up and we haven't exactly saw him do the Amir Khan chicken dance yet.

    Yeah, I think he hiding some china in that mandible, but like Deontay Wilder, his team carefully hide it by having him face carefully chosen opposition. That opposition may not be as pathetic as Wilder's - nobody's is - but it's not that threatening either.

    This leads me to believe he might be hiding something, and chin weakness is a likely possibility.

    THIS GLASS JAW stuff is more a myth than a reality

    Often it is not the chin that is the problem but the legs that
    cause the knockdowns.
