which of these two do you think has the better chin?


both often get mocked on here for packing glass

but i dont buy that for a minute

both look the type of men who have granite chins

by the time they collide.... they're gonna sure as hell need em

Neither granite or glass. It's gonna take more than one shot to put either of their lights out. Unlike stevenson who gets ko'd by 1 shot.

 

right now I say kovalev has the better chin he took pascal's shots pretty well.

 

Neither has glass jaw. However, Kovalev was dropped and KO'd as amateur. Beterbiev fought better opponents in amateus at LHW and at cruiserweight and was never stopped.

Beterbiev was dropped by undefeated Page Jr, Kovalev was dropped by Boone.

I'd go with Beterbiev.

 

Boone has dropped everybody though. His record doesn't reflect his punching power.

 

Kovalev has the better chin but both carry glass.

Beterbiev has the better chin. If they exchange, Beterbiev's brute power will down Kovalev.

That knockdown in Beterbiev's last fight didn't even look legit to me, I always thought Kov's chin is somewhat fragile but he's proven otherwise in his last fight. Beterbiev seems to have a very good chin but I'll wait before saying anything now.

Kovalev seems to have a solid chin. He hasn't ever been blasted repeatedly with big shots, by a huge puncher so it's hard to tell. His chin is good enough for what he does though. Beterbiev hasn't face enough quality opposition to even say.
