Shouldn't have ducked Pulev then should he?

I'd say Cunningham was a better win than Scott, at least was a a legit cruiser champ, Scott had just racked up a pretty record against no marks for the most part.

He had 2 options, Pulev or Haye and chose the one with the bigger reward and also the bigger risk-how is that a duck?

Haye>Pulev bet Haye and you will gain more respect than if you beat Pulev (well he would have if they fought). There was also a higher chance of Haye sparking Fury than Pulev doing so, at least thats the majority public perception so again, hows that a duck?

I don't agree with the duck comment, he went for Haye as it was more money, thats fine with me.

Just saying in hindsight I bet he wished he had fought Pulev. Because I think he would have beaten him and a world title would have been there for the taking.

Instead he is in no mans land and f**king Chisora is in front of him !!!

Yeh i agree with that but thts only with hindsight isnt it haha.

Chisora has kept busy but i suspect its Wa rrens cash which have him ranked so high...and Hennesseys reluctance to play that game which has Fury so low

There is a possibility that Frank would lose to Hennessy again at purse bids and I don't think Frank could stomach Chisora fighting on Channel Five.

I don't think the fight happens- more likely is a fight with Price down the line for both fighters if they all keep active and winning.

I agree with this,Westy. Its just unfortunate. But I reckon Peter thought, rightly IMO,that Pulev was at least as dangerous as Haye. And as you remark, more money.I also wish he'd fought Pulev, but Ill bet the Furys wish it a thousand times more than the pair of us together.

Jim,I wouldn't argue with that.Cunningham is a hell of a fighter. My thoughts when making that comment were that he was a bit bigger and younger and on the strength of his draw with the Russian lad, where he looked a really good boxer.Fury gets knocked for his showing with Cunningham, but despite not having Peter and fighting in the Garden first time,he showed a lot of good qualities.I don't even think we've seen the best of him yet.I just hope he has at least 4 fights this year, though I suspect it might just be three.

Fury beat Chisora so how is Del beating someone better then Tyson beating him. Maybe the rankings don't show it ATM because of Haye ****ing over Tyson but Fury is still above Chisora to me and honestly if they fight again Fury will win again.

If you read it again you'll see that I think Fury would beat Chisora again. My first sentence might be a bit ambiguous, but I did say "other than Chisora".My main point is that the Haye business has set Fury back.We seem to be singing from the same sheet,so whats the argument?

Of course Fury ducked Pulev. He took the money option because he knew he'd lose to both fighters. It was the smart decision, but it was definitely a duck.

Haye is more dangerous than Pulev so how is that a duck? He had 2 options and choose the riskier

Don't agree with you there Solaris.

He didn't duck Pulev in my eyes - he took a fight with Haye who for one is a more dangerous fighter, would have opened up more doors for him should he win, was a much bigger fight, generated far more money etc.

Also, I don't think losing enters Tyson's head he genuinely thinks he can do anyone.

But in hindsight, I bet he's kicking himself for not taking the Pulev fight after the carry on with Haye.

This fight does nothing for chisora. There are plenty of euro heavies we have heard of, he needs one of them.
