Chass , You don't think Lucian Bute @ S/Middle would beat Mundine ? Andrade will have learned a lot from the Kessler defeat also and its no dead cert Bute will beat him either imo , these guys are fighting constantly at their proper weight Mundine's "Shape shifting " and lack of quality opponents is going to come back and bite him in the arse i reckon , just a matter oftime @ the higher weight , he probably will get away with it v the likes of Strum but the margin for error @ S/Middle is slimmer .

Good points ( both ) but that said do you think Mundines recent level of opponents is of decent quality ? i certainly don't , sometimes fighters like Calzaghe etc fights to the level of their opponents and seeing Mundine dropped on his arse by the likes of kim suggests to me he is another of them mate .

u post like i use too, with posts that dont add up.

if your a boxing fan, u should have the ability to see fighters with a open mind.

choc has improved from the start, no doubt. but id say he hasnt improved much in the last years or so.

you sayin it would be chocs hardest fights against sterm then sayin its over within six is weird to me. and i think choc wouldnt weigh less then sturm at fight time.

anyway, im a Sturm hugger, and he has too much skill and experiance for choc, and he dont wanna flex his little arms next to him, sturm is a beast and will be too strong for choc.

No mate, but he fights them regularily at least.
Fighting a stiff or not, Mundine looked as slick as I've seen him last up. The flaws I see in Mundine give the likes of Kessler, Joe and at middle Pavlik a field day. But his natural speed, evasivessness and counterpunching style is dangerous for any plodder type elite or not. He needs to watch himself but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he'd show more defensive intensity against the big punching Andrade and Bute than ol Craazy.

I laughed out loud when i saw him dropped on his arse by kim , i knew and his corner knew then he had been taking the **** , i think Mundine did get a wake up call in that fight if he had been turned off at the mains it would surley have been all over red rover for his career mate with no way back , the win at least kept his momentum going , he needs to either start shitting or get off the pot now , enough is enough :deal . a decent level of opponent after he fights the only S/Middle in Uraguay or **** him i will lose total interest ( big loss i know ) :yep its been a sad ride thus far seeing if he could make a decent World Champion , i started out wanting him to capture a decent World title , now i just will be content in seeing him fight a decent opponent again .

I said in terms of the WBA and IBF titles. Sturm will be the much harder opponent, compared to what it will take to win the vacant IBF. Unless Pavlik eats it up.

Sturm has a lot of skill and technical ability. I just can't see him winning though. Hes at 160, Choc comes in at 170. Choc has speed and power advantage.

I just have to get this off my chest.

Sturm is ****, poor mans winky wright with that cover up shell type defence.

Mundine would NOT find it harder to fight Sturm than he would Sam Soliman and im being serious.

Waiting for return fire with anticipation :D
