I just watched an interview there with j leon love and jeff mayweather and it seems like sr isnt too well liked, I kind of got the feeling in the build up to the fight that he wasnt too popular and during the boxnation coverage through the card. J leon love said hes very arrogant around the gym and was pressuring him into sparring. Jeff was easier on him but said that a lot of people dont like him and the way he acts will be bad for jr could even affect judges scoring ect. He said that he could be a british champion and has some talent but his father is making himself look like a fool. I knew he had problems with Waren but is there any other feuds or anything he has, i was surprised this was coming out of the mayweather camp. In terms of promotion and landing the big fights, Eubank senior is a massive asset for Eubank junior. Junior got a shot at Billy Joe Saunders on account of his name. Sure, senior is a tool, but junior would do well just to ignore all that.
Exactly, no way in hell did Eubank Jr justify a fight against BJS if it wasn't for the name and Eubank Sr backing. But maybe he needs his son to develop properly. What might have worked for him won't necessarily work for his son. But have different up bringing and probably personalities.
his influence, bar getting the bjs fight, is not positive for his career.. he is holding jnr back badly.
