Everyones got a different style man you must relize this. Sure Leben is rather slow and doesnt have much footwork or defense plus he swings like a drunk but usually what he does works. Agianst the B level fighters which Bisping has yet to prove he is above all Leben has needed to do is take their best shots which he always does and land atleast 1 or 2 of his huge left haymakers that ends there night. Bisping is quicker and sharper but hes no god in the striking department he got outstriked by Matt Hamil for christ sakes.
I think this is a good B level fight and would have been a very good undercard fight. Bisping is decent in all area's but nothing special while Leban always offers a decent fight. I would edge towards Bisaping but would not be surprised if Leban managed a surprise KO win.
Actually Leben has very effective MMA striking, as opposed to boxing/kickboxing striking. He looks wild and looping but if you look at his fights IT WORKS. He has punchers chance against almost anyone and certainly can knock Bisping out. Look at his fight with Sakara (who was a good pro boxer) and see whose works better.
It'll be pretty even for two rounds, but Bisping will take the final moments of the third by way of attrition and just being the naturally bigger fighter.
Bispings got a great chin and looks sharp as **** the now. Hopefully Leben gets destroyed, how anyone could call that tube an athlete is insane, boys a bar room brawler straight and simple
Not only do I not think Leben is gonna be a walkover, I think the balls-to-the-wall American is gonna lay that British scumbag out. That's actually my most anticipated fight right now.
Bisping is quite a good striker, he has a wide range of strikes kick's knee etc as well as his hands, if leben wins it will be by a lucky haymaker.
you mean the same striking that got him kncoked the **** out by kickboxing/thai style of anderson silva. I am obviously not saying bisping is on that level but i would be pretty suprised if bisping doesn't ko leben within 2 rounds.
I agree. However, I don't just blame the judges. Sure, Bisping didn't decide the scores but he could have, I don't know, not been a total ***** after the fight. He was talking like he was dominating the fight and celebrating like a total jackass. He should have been about 100 times as humble considering 99% of everyone thought he lost it.
I was just about to say that...I can see why in the heat of the battle you thought you won..But after watching the fight, seeing all the backlash to still come out like a ***** says alot about him At least Leben was aprick and when he got a ****ing beatdown from Silva hes cleaned up his act a bit...I hope he knocks Michael the **** Bisping out!!
I never really seen Leben as a ***** hes just a entertaining guy and confident. Thing he said about sending Anderson back to Japan where its easier was stupid but im sure Dana White told him to say that. I like how Leben says he has that button on his chin if you hit it his arm throws a left hook right away.
Has got Bisping KO win written all over it. He is a far superior striker to Leben who just throws hopeful haymakers.
