chuvalo vs carnera...

    what happens in this fight? who how and why?

    Carnera could win it I think. Despite being a big man who has been accused of chin problems, his stamina and durability to the body were impressive. Body punches made little impression on him. Those were Chuvalo's calling card.

    There's the chance that Chuvalo draws Primo into a big left hook and drops him, but I see Carnera's jab doing most of the damage in this fight.

    Carnera did quite well against fighters of this type e.g Uzcdun, Levinsky, Neusell.

    I think he would probably outpoint Chuvalo to take a prety wide points decision.

    agree with this and greata's assessment. not sure how carnera does with the body attack (which chuvalo would get to) but i'll trust greata and assume carnera takes it well

    in the end chuvalo always had trouble with the jab and carnera, despite being pretty unskilled as a whole, had a very solid jab when he wanted to. george would get inside and take some rounds, never fearing carnera's power. but that jab would win more rounds and unless george lands something big, i see primo by decision
