Tunney wins a shutout. How Tunney handles Chuvalo's size and strength are the only questions here, but I believe he wouldn't have too much trouble.

It would be as one sided as it gets on the scorecards but that wouldn't tell the whole tale - fights against George chuvalo are hard fights for anyone even if on paper you are shutting him out - and I don't think gene would need to in any way 'run for his life' to do it he rarely did - the exception being the 7th round against Dempsey in the rematch but then George chuvalo makes a tired and rusty Dempsey look like the old (young) Dempsey - don't really see Chuvalo doing any better than say Tom Heeney did when he got in there with Gene The Fighting Marine

The analogy with the "hard Rock from Down Under " Tom Heeney is on target...Tunney was a mentally tough and disciplined boxer, and a punishing puncher also. Too many skills for the iron George Chuvalo ...

I am not sure that Tunney would have to run for his life to be honest.

He only really did that against Dempsey.

Tunney would dominate Chuvalo just like every other great or near great Chuvalo fought.

  12. in my opinion tunney would be destroyed by foreman and frazier and he would be dominated by ali. chuvalo would be very decent rival for dempsey

Do you have obsessive compulsive disorder??

if someone asked you if you beleive men really went to the moon your answer would be "I dunno but but George Foreman would've destroyed the moon and the astronauts!!" you might concede that the moon would last longer based on the size but nothing can survive the hammer blows of George foreman (apart from gregorio peralta of course coz his chin was tougher than the moon)
