first bundrage, then spinks, then chavez jr.

cintron, angulo, kirkland, martirosyan, PW...not happening.

are the people on ESB that see something in canelo the same people that thought dzin was going to beat SM with his "piston-like jab" and "technically-sound defense" against b-level fighters?

canelo is going nowhere at 154. he may have a chance at 147 but he cant make the weight.

are there any reputable fighters, past or present, praising the greatness of canelo?

    no.

Kirkland ready for Canelo? more like the other way around.

and no, GBP and canelo are going nowhere near Kirkland. canelo has never even fought someone at 154 let alone a bruiser like kirkland.

    a 38-year-old JMM(140) probably beats beats canelo(151) right now.

no power, no chin, no defense=no career.

GBP will be going near Kirkland seeing as they promote him.

You also have to tone your hatred of Alvarez down otherwise it becomes pretty clear you are trolling, which incidentally is bad trolling.

Kirkland and Canelo right now are EASILY the two biggest hypejobs in the sport!

Neither one is NEARLY as good as thier hype. But at this time.... I'm confident that Kirkland would hammer the ginger.

I dont have a hatred for Alvarez. he actually seems very nice and extremely humble as he appears here on tv in mexico a lot. trust me, i see absolutely no ego from him in all his interviews and talk shows.

However, if you dont believe me about his serious deficiencies, just listen to what other fighters and trainers have to say about the guy.

GBP is just buying time with alvazrez to try and generate as much money out of him until he is exposed.

They know what they have in him. His next fight will be Bundrage, Alcine, Trout or any other non-puncher that has been previously KO'd.

By the way, if you check my posts, you'll see that i have bet on Canelo twice at -1000. Handicappers rarely bet against a guy they like or on a guy they hate.

Anyone can see he has massive holes in his game, however we have to remember the kid is like 20 years old.

His defence his worrying and you could say that his chin is worrying too, however he has some solid qualities to work off. He has some power in those fists, and while people like to say he is slow I don't think he is, he seems average in the speed department. He can put his punches together well and seems like a physically strong kid.

He shouldn't have fought for a title in my opinion, its just too soon. He needs a trainer that can tighten up his defence first before he goes onto the big names at 154. However if he can work hard (which there have been numerous interviews that have said he has) then there is no reason that in a few years he should be a top name at 154.
