My top 10 welterweight rankings right now.

    1.Paul Williams
    2.Shane mosley/Floyd Mayweather
    3.Kermit Cintron/Antonio Margarito
    4.Joshua Clottey
    5.Miguel Cotto
    6.Luis collazo
    7.Zab Judah
    8.Carlos Quintana
    9.Joel Julio
    10.Andre Berto

The reason why i put cotto at number 5,because he really struggle against a junior welterweight in urkal, just imagine what margarito's pressure would do.I dont see cotto beating anybody above the top 4 i mentioned.Williams would make cotto look like a sparring session especially with all the angles and movement he would give cotto, mosley would outclass cotto like i said before, clottey has the chin, stamina and ability to win a decision against cotto, margarito would break cotto down and stop him late, cintron would destroy and knock cotto out and mayweather would just simply pick him apart.

Cotto would stop Cintron late, probably after getting buzzed pretty good.

    Top welters:

    Floyd
    Cotto
    Mosley
    Williams
    Margarito

Cotto's too tough for Cintron. Kermit may have some early moments, but I think Miguel breaks him down for a late KO.

You are giving Williams way too much credit for beating Margarito

    Excellent thread

To be honest with you if Cintron continues to improve he can derail Cotto and really KO that train. I'm a big fan of Cotto but Cintron's punching power is scary :scaredas:

With that said for some reason Cotto just has that determination factor that you rarely see in a fighter, there's no quit in him and that seems to be Kermits Kryptonite.

I really can't chose a winner at the moment, I rather see Cintron fight Williams first to see how he handles volume pressure as compared to Cotto's power punching pressure.

On second thought scratch that I rather see Cintron fight Margo first then Williams. That's if he can negate what happened the first fight.

    Shane
    Cintron
    Cotto
    Margarito
    FMJ
    Williams

Any of these guys are capable of beating any of the others.

I think he's just below that level right now, but given another shot at the top and maybe he proves to be top 5 worthy.

Cintron has NO heart and is a *****.. Yeah he knocked that dude out cold but so what? He had power when he was facing Margarito and Margarito hit him with some good shuts but nothing major and he fell to the canvas and looked over to his corner for them to stop the fight. Cotto will destroy him. As soon as he gets hit in that skinny body he will take a dive trust me on that one! Someone please upload the fight between Cintron and Margarito so you can see what a ***** and heartless punk he is.
