Im looking at putting a circuit together, i want a mixture of exercises, some cardio, some strength, some upper body, some lower body or a mixture. Im trying to build strength not bulk, and aerobic and anaerobic fitness. Im looking for exercises using hand weights, weight plates, body weight, punch out drills. I want to put together 12 or more rounds of a circuit. Can i have some ideas of circuits you guys do that you find work well for yourselfs or any exercises that will go well in a circuit.
Burpees, dumbbell swings, dumbbell cleans, tuck jumps, clap pushups, bodyweight squats, dumbbell thrusters, skipping, med ball slams, sandbag lifts, knee high dumbbell presses, punchout drills etc - the list is endless. Mix up your time periods, for example, do thirty seconds of each exercise for a total of three minutes, rest briefly and repeat. Also utilise the tabata protocol - not much beats it in terms of intensity.
