Clause in the contract?

    Guys, maybe you know this. I remember reading when the Pac/Marquez 2 negotiations were going on that Arum was putting a clause into the contract guarantying a rematch. Does anyone know what became of this? Maybe it was only for Pac had he lost.:huh

    He must've just been covering his boy. But I would still think GBP would match the condition with a similar one.

    The rematch clause was only for Pacquiao if he lost. I did a thread on it yesterday.

    The clause was totally unfair but what can you say Top Rank protected their fighter, GBP didnt.

    Yah, they announced it right before the fight. Seemed a bit odd to me, but Pacquiao held all the cards.

    I guess we should wait to see how Pac looks like at 135. If he looks terrible like Hatton does at 147 than I wouldn't want to see a rematch it won't be as competitive as previously. But who knows, maybe he'll look good.
