And you also think Bellew will be a World Champion at Cruiserweight and god knows what other insane **** you come out with. Hearn loves signing up Franks loose p u s s y. Cleverly was under the illusion he was a butterfly when in reality he was just a slightly colourful moth who had ambitions beyond his station. Sure, he was fine to beat the likes of Murat, Krasniqi, Karpency but he needs to stay away from the big boys or otherwise he'll get splattered again. I don't blame him though for moving to Matchroom, best thing for him as Tony Bellew is the only big fight out there for him that he may actually win.
If Hearn is offering more money then good luck to him. To be honest, I don't think Clev is worth much at this stage until he can build himself back up. It's difficult to see him doing much at CW.
I thought he handled himself well on Ringside the other night, Bellew was pumped after his ko win and shouting the odds, but Cleverly reacted with class ,imo.
Not sure its a good signing for Eddie if im honest. Maybe builds him a little then puts him in against Bellew and then what? Just dont see either as World title holders so what is the aim? Unless he wants to put on a Cardiff show with Clev headlining.
Really rate Clev as a boxer but that loss seems to have affected him badly and I'm not sure cruiserweight is best for him. Hope he does join matchroom, would be interesting to see what Eddie could do for him and a Clev/Bellew rematch down the line would be a good fight.
