Sounds like Nathan Cleverly has a big fight in Cardiff in August, which will be live on HBO in the US

I know that Brähmer is mandatory. So they fight each other?

 

Why HBO? Can't be to do with Hopkins seeing as he's a Showtime fighter.

Building him up for Ward or Dawson? Unless they've got someone big lined up to come over

 

Isn't Shumenov with 50 Cent now maybe that's the fight ? (Doubt it though)

I'm hearing rumours that the sheep have even turned their back on him, It's not Nathan's fault its just that they are a bit weary of Vincent, he is errrrrr how can I put this, he's quite fond of them.

 

That won't happen. He'll fight someone in the top 20 like he always does, mandatory or not. HBO might show it from a timing perspective as a late start here would mean an early start on the West Coast.

Guess they need the hbo money cos cleverley couldnt sell out a rickshaw never mind a decent sized arena.

 

I remember after his last fight his manager mumbled something about not fighting Braehmer,as though it was some kind of encumbrance.I mentioned it on here and was told that it was his mandatory,as though it would be nailed on to happen.Looks like I could be right after all.Pity,because it looked a good fight and a decent test for him at last,the only decent test so far being Bellew IMO.
