CLEVERLY/OAKEY - Your views?

Tough fight to call this one for me, Cleverly is the more skilful but he will never have fought at this pace before and he may have to do it for 12 rounds as despite Oakey going over against Francis, his whiskers have always been good.

Cleverly's hand speed and mobility should take him clear for a few rounds but can he keep it going, I know some of you have seen more of him than me, just wondered what your views are.

 

not to sure. this is simular to appleby vs simpson, people saying its to soon for the prospect.

remember cleverly spars for years with the best light heavy in the world.

 

i think cleverley takes a close but clear UD.

does anyone know why francis pulled out? have not yet seen injury mentioned, presumed it was, but all the reports ive read dont really state a reason.

 

if oakey has anything left i'd back him to spring an upset here.

 

Who's training Nathan these days , i heared he left Old Enzo Calz a couple of months back .

 

Oakey is an easier fight than Francis but still not a walk in the park for Cleverly. I think Cleverly takes a UD.

 

I heard it was a smokescreen.

Thanks lads . I know Joe rates him and says he has a big future , Nath spars with Joe reguarly as do all the lads up in newbridge but Nath has more time in there than anyone apparently , i thought reports of his leaving were a bit suss especially this early in his career , despite what many think Old enzo brings the best out of the lads up in pissy valley .

 

Oakey will win very very easily. Cleverly has shown absolutely nothing and he has no power at all to keep Oakey off of him.

 

I agree I think Oakey will win clear points decision.
