Cleverly / Shumenov

When Buncey was interviewing buglioni on the ESPN podcast he asked him whether he'd want a place on the clev shu bill in Brooklyn in July. Is this official or is Buncey jumping the gun? What happened to cleverly brahmer?

There's been talk of a big FW card for June or July hasn't there? Looks like Buncey's just told us what it is (or what it is in theory anyway).

 

He might have got Braehmer mixed up with Shumenov.

Makes no real sense to the Sauerlands putting Braehmer v Cleverly on in Brooklyn. They will surely want it in Germany as they can do 10k in an arena and get massive viewing figures in Germany, and probably have no interest in Braehmer v Hopkins.

 

He made it sound like cleverly would be fighting shumenov on the Hopkins Murat bill in Brooklyn. Could see cleverly fighting on Hopkins undercard to build a unification between the two later in the year but not by fighting another champion.

 

Maybe he thinks Clev is gonna fight shumenov on hopkins/murat undercard.

 

Maybe he's just talking bollocks?

 

Maybe he is trying to create interest,wouldn't be the first time

Would make sense to a possible Hopkins clev fight

Would mandatory become second to unification

 

If Cleverly is fighting Shumenov it will mean he is dropping the WBO.

Shumenov isn't a golden boy fighter is he? Cleverly against brahmer or lesser opponent before Hopkins sounds more likely to me.

 

We have been here before, talk of decent fights only for it to be a ''homecoming'' fight against a bus driver.

Cleverly to face Hopkins later this year if they both win their fights in July?

When was the last time Hopkins fought 3 times in a year? Cloud, Murat and possibly Cleverly all in 2013? Don't see it unless Hopkins is signing off after the third fight.
