trying to work out whose best for comedy value? merchant - i recently saw a funny of him pushing a fan over in a post fight interview of course teddys fight predicitions m.steward - just for some of his speaks like a fight going exactly as he saw it and as soon as mayweather hit hatton when he said "check left hook" i had never heard the term but it has since become common place my personal favourite is lampley and im not sure maybe its just me but watching some old fights recently and he almost takes on the role of peace maker when commentating between merchant and some guest commentators. for example i watched one recently where rjj was making a point and merchant in so many words said thats a loada crap its at this point lampley always says something like "i think what he is trying to say is...." or "i think the point (insert guest commentator name) is trying to make is" to try and bring peace! maybe its just me :yep any others? thanks
i Luv larry merchants commentating. i see him trying to argue with people a lot and ends up getting embarrased, and then lampley helps him out. back in the day when Roy used to start of his responses with "larry if you were a boxer u'd know that......."
