I just read that Anthony Dirrell is fighting on the undercard of the Dawson/Tarver card. For those that don't know...Anthony was 12-0 (11 KO's) when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. From a few articles I read as well as a news clip from his hometown of Flint, he has been working hard to get back in the ring and continue his career, and it's incredible that he beat cancer. Also on a sidenote...I personally think he's better than his brother.

Unfortunately for Dirrell, he is going to get knocked out in the first round by Victor Oganov. With Dirrell's chin, this is the last man he should fight.

I'm sorry...my mistake...I thought it was indeed Andre who was fighting Oganov.

I do agree that Anthony is much better than Andre. I retract my last comment.

    Good for Anthony!!

how padded is Oganov? Zuniga isn't terrible, so he can't be a complete bum for losing to him??? He clearly has power, what do you guys think he'd do against the likes of Froch, Inkin, Kessler, Taylor? I'd think he'd lose against all of them in exciting fights.

He is very padded as soon as he were to step up to ANY of the mentioned names he would lose...

He isnt better then Andre...More exciting yes, a bigger puncher yes but not as skilled or talented. I thought that it would be a case of two brother being ranked in the top 10 p4p at the same time. Anthony is very young even after missing two years he is still only 23

Anthony Dirrell is on another level ... he might not use his technical ability to advantage all the time but he makes sure to impose his will and use his physicality to win fights.

He's tall and he's strong ... i'm sure he fills out after he gets back into the groove of fighting and makes a decent run ... I wouldn't rule out a title either.
