    WTF?

For being a human punching bag everytime he steps up in competition, he gets props?

Congratulations weirdo for accepting those punishments against Cotto, Hatton, and Khan!

I already gave amir his props.....

Paulie has had a great carear......bit of an overachiever.....The past decade since he turned pro, has been one of the most feather-fisted top 10 fighter in a division....and yet

Was the US amateur champion for his weight class, won the IBF world title, made a couple defenses, was in big fights, and made a nice sum of cash.....While speaking out against the status quo, and willing to fight anybody, and having heart each and everytime out....

    Proud of Paulie....

I agree, I thought Paulie had a good chance of winning the fight going in, but he was thoroughly outclassed.

I asked the same question as Jeff here. Where was the movement and angles from Paulie? I think he decided he was going to stand in the pocket and trade with Khan, which proved to be a bad idea. Sherif Younan was begging him to execute the gameplan and move, but he wouldn't. I'm not sure it would have helped alot either, given how sharp Khan looked.

I was not a Khan fan before the fight, but he won me over a bit as far as watching him in the ring. He looked very sharp with the jab and does a great job of keeping those hands up, blocking shots, and countering.

As far as Paulie goes, I hope he learns from the experience and bounces back. He showed great heart and a solid chin.

Paul deserves respect and good thing he didn't unleash that uppercut or we wouldn't have had the chance to see him for 11 rounds. IT was a good fight....one sided but a good fight.

I think Paul should take the hint but to be honest Paul is successful fighting on the inside and overwhelming his opponents with activity. He could be MUCH better if he utilizes his phyical demensions to their highest abilities., but Paul makes exciting fights and no one has been able to beat him...well, except for Quintana.

I like that fight but see Paulie loosing to Tim as well. But Paulie comes to fight and deserves to be in the mix...IF he can get a win in his next fight.

I wouldn't say he got robbed by Smoger.....I think Smoger felt sympathy for Paulie and didn't want him to take anymore punishment. Good call by Smoger to stop the fight. The uppercut was NOT pauls friend and good thing he didn't get brave and throw it. Kahn would have caught Paul cold if Paul got brave.

  9. So you're giving him credit AND ****ing him? He must've really impressed you.

I'll give it to him that he's tuff & can take punishment, but that's it. He talked **** about khan & khan beat him @ his own game. If khan really went after him he would've knocked him out. I aint jumping on the khan bandwagon though. We'll see who he fights next.

I too think Tim would win that one but it would be alot closer as paulie has the height advantage. That is if he can get back on his toes

Paulie is a tough SOB and earned my respect long ago against Cotto.
